MiCOM P63x series differential protection devices are designed for fast and selective short-circuit protection in transformers, motors, generators and other installations.
Providing fast and selective differential protection, MiCOM 63x easily connects to almost any transformer control or SCADA system. It is user-friendly and provides clear readings from comprehensive records.
High-speed, three-system differential protection
MiCOM P63x provides high-speed, three-system differential protection using a triple slope feature and two high-set differential elements in conjunction with transformer inrush prevention, overflux prevention and transient stabilization.
Users obtain magnitude and vector group matching by entering the nominal values of the transformer windings and associated CTs. The devices also include a number of feeder protection functions. MiCOM P63x provides four setting groups for easy adaptation to various system operating conditions.
Versatility of systems and easy, clear readings
Equipped with 1A/5A configuration software, MiCOM P63x has two communication interfaces for SCADA and RTU and a wide range of communication protocols. It enables easy and complete device settings and readouts from comprehensive readouts. Flush-mounted or wall-mountable, MiCOM P63x benefits from the InterMiCOM interface for direct end-to-end communication between two protection devices.
